Hello, just dropping in to say don't be strangers and pop in and meet Georgina Bell, an ambassador from the UK for SMWS. She will be meeting members of the press but will be around im sure for a chat for those of you who would like to pick her brain! We will start around 6pm.
We also have the latest out-turn which is available for a sneaky tasting session in the bar.
There is a tasting planned for mid October too so keep your eyes focused on this thread!

Good evening whisky fans.
Just a reminder that we have a tasting tomorrow at our bar in Stockholm and there are a few places left. Please contact robert@lihnellbrands.se
for booking, member on non member try and make it down.
On the 25th September we have Georgina Bell, an ambassador to SMWS coming over from the UK. Pop in and see her and myself in the bar from 18.00.

Hiya,
Im just writing to let you all know that we, Ostra Matsal and Bar, together with SMWS Sweden, will be hosting a tasting of single cask single malt whiskies.
The event is in our SMWS bar in Stockholm and is open to members of the SMWS only. We are however in the process of booking further tastings for non-members and a ''bring a friend'' event.
We begin at 19:00 on the 12th September. Our address is;

Hi guys, I hope you have seen the post I made a couple of weeks back. SMWS is in Sweden now.
The website is up and running http://www.smws.se/
We at Ostra Matsal & Bar have a SMWS bar within our bar with over 20 different single cask single malt whiskies
including a grain and even a 21yr rum!
The SMWS can also be found at Bergslagens Destilleri in Norra, just outside of Örebro.

Hello fellow whisky lovers,
My name is David and im writing of behalf of Ostra Matsal & Bar.
In our bar we have single malt single cask whisky from The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS).
We currently have 21 whiskies from 18 different distilleries including a grain whisky. We even have a 21yr single cask rum from Jamaica!
As well as whisky from the SMWS we have a large selection of whisky from Mackmyra including whisky which we serve straight from the barrel. Using Mackmyras ''Elegant'' recepie we age the whisky in a bourbon barrel.
Please do pop in and visit us. We will be arranging whisky tastings with the SMWS and even special events with food menus suited to the whisky we serve.

Vi bjuder in till en exklusiv provning den 7e November i Stockholm på vår Society bar på ”Ostra matsal & bar” Det kommer att provas 5 olika unika single casks från SMWS sortiment och vi kommer att plocka smaker från de olika regionerna i Skottland. Vilka flaskor som ska vara med kommer snarast upp på vår facebook.
